Meet the Sweetheart Raglan Sweater, your new favorite go-to pullover! This Mae to Measure pattern is designed just for you, with full customization for body measurements, sleeve length, and overall sweater length. Worked top-down using the half double crochet V-stitch, it creates a beautifully textured fabric that looks stunning in any yarn.
Featuring a folded crewneck collar and short rows for a better neckline fit, this sweater has a relaxed, easy-to-wear silhouette, perfect for layering or wearing on its own. Since this pattern allows you to use any yarn, you can create a lightweight, drapey sweater or a cozy, thick pullover depending on your preference.
While the construction is classic, the raglan increases require some experience, making this an excellent choice for advanced crocheters who have tackled raglan sweaters before. To help, I’ve included a video tutorial walking you through the more complex parts of the pattern.
If you’re looking for a custom-fit sweater with gorgeous texture and endless yarn possibilities, the Sweetheart Raglan Sweater is calling your name!
MAE TO MEASURE
Read more here!
A Mae to Measure pattern is an interactive, made-to-measure pattern that calculates the number of stitches, rows, and yardage for a pattern. The benefit of a Mae to Measure pattern is that it makes your pattern size inclusive to virtually any body size (theoretically, it should even work for an infant!) This is done by allowing the user to type in their body’s measurements onto your pattern. Then, in the background, the pattern will calculate all the math within the pattern to fit the person perfectly.
