Designing your own crochet or knit patterns can feel like a daunting task. When I started out, I was hungry for resources, but so much information was scattered across the internet—it was overwhelming. That's why I decided to create a single, comprehensive resource to guide you through every step of the design process! Whether you're creating garments, accessories, or anything in between, this course will help you confidently design patterns from scratch.

This course is for anyone who's familiar with crochet or knitting and is ready to take the leap into designing their own patterns. If you've ever wanted to create something unique but didn’t know where to start, this is for you! I’ll be covering everything you need to know, from basics like gauge and gauge math, to writing and grading your patterns, all the way through to photographing, marketing, and selling your finished designs.

I'll also dive into specific topics like garment construction and how to make sure your patterns are size-inclusive, so everyone can enjoy your creations.

The course is designed to be a step-by-step journey. Each week, we’ll dive deeper into a new topic that builds on the last. By following along from start to finish, you’ll be able to go from beginner to confident pattern designer. I’ll also be posting videos to demonstrate combining steps, so you can watch me work through real design situations.
